Currently in Portugal and it's hot. We're at a campsite and have hooked up, but have got no 230 v elevtric. We've tried several hook up sockets, but none work. Our neighbour's is ok and the warden has checked the post. So we think the prob is with the van. The fisebox hasn't tripped and we've checked for loose wires at each end of the cable. The van is a Burstner nexxo with an electro lpc. Please does anyone have any suggestions as to what we could try next? We're running the fridge on gas and don't want to run out. 12 v is ok. Thanks Chris

Thank you Jim. Panic over! It is working after all! It's just the bulb on the control panel which has gone!

LOL - the Bessie had a microwave so to test if the 'mains' was on or off, I just flicked the oven on, if it whirred as they do, fine. Flicked off again. That was about as much use as it ever had in our 3 years of ownership.

Dunno what would be easy to do to test now, if the 'pound' sign doesn't light up . Have to get the hairdrier out I guess!
