Hello

We are going to south next week and will be stopping off in Perth for a couple of hours to meet someone. We will be overnighting just north of Perth but I was wondering if anyone on here who lives in Perth can tell me of a car park in or near PH2 where I can park a 7.5m MH for a couple of hours?

Cheers

Didn't find parking in Perth that easy when I was there a few years back. The racecourse adjacent to the Scone camp site would be big enough if no race on the date you are there.

There is usually a lot of space along the Edinburgh Road by the south Inch (paid).

It's in PH2.

If you are coming from the North you can park in the retail park as you come in beside Tiso but your friends may need to pick you up or you could meet them at Dobbies

I've taken a look at the options this morning and have opted for the Broxton Park & Ride and then take the bus in and out. This will avoid driving into the centre of Perth.

Thanks again.

That's what I did last month. Very easy & also cheap.

I would suggest that you go in through the entrance & keep going straight forwards. Don't turn right into the top car park. Straight ahead takes you to the flattest part with space to hang the back end over the kerb. It's a new extension that is still green field on Google satellite view. You are well out of the way of everyone else even if you do stick out a bit (mine is 6.5m).

There was plenty of room at 9am on a Monday morning, although I arrived early & made myself a leisurely breakfast before catching the bus. Or there is the Services next door, if you are into that sort of thing.

We go there quite a bit. Always managed to park in the South Inch car park. Never had any problems. There is also parking beside the car park on the road if you don't want to pay the pay and display.

Thanks for that, it's good to have an alternative if the Broxton Park & Ride is full.

Update...

Broxton Park & Ride was perfect.

If go go right in and then into the extension on the right by the car charging points you will find a couple of extra large spaces at the top of the slope. See our MH in the photo.

Free parking for up to 72 hours and the bus fare into the city centre is just £1.50 return per person. :)

Ah, well done. I didn't find those. I took one look at the slope on that top car park & went for the flat bit in the new extension. Mind you, it helps that we are only 6.4m, so I get a bit more choice of where to park than a lot of people.
