My knowledge of any online forum is extremely limited so please forgive me if this is not as it should be!
This thread is supposed to "introduce" me but my life is so very very different now than it was six months ago that i tend to look much more into what my life is becoming and how it will be rather than what it once was - so rather than "introduce" myself with all that i was, I'd like to introduce myself with all that i hope to be....if that's okay?
i the "Laird of Dunstan". He is my man and, just to say those words, makes me incredibly happy and unbelievably proud. He has given me a future and he IS my future. (i am sooooo going to get into trouble when he reads this!!!) .
We are in the process of actively downsizing our work lives, though this will take possibly a year or so, it will happen and in the meantime we are going to start travelling around the UK, beginning with the Hay Festival, in May in his caravan with our three small dogs. We have already decided upon the motorhome that we want, having viewed it at the NEC Motorhome show earlier this year and plan to go over to Europe to order it directly later this year so that it will be ready for 2016.
We're not rushing into this. We have no wish to make mistakes. Slowly and surely and, hopefully, safely - we have already received invaluable advice, assistance and support from The Lairds previous conversations with Funsters on this forum and i thank you all.
One of my "interests" is writing and i am hoping to commence a blog, whether it is a personal journal or a more shared enterprise, about the on-going experience of commencing and undergoing this journey - both physical and emotional - together.
so....to "introduce" myself i will simply say HELLO.
That it is so very wonderful to "meet" you all and that i hope, in time, to meet some of you in person rather than purely in print.
Take care of yourselves and each other. We are blessed to have this world to explore, let's take care of it.
With hugs and hope.....kes...xxx
