How to hang a mirror (1 Viewer)

Hello,
We just bought our first motorhome 3 months ago. I would like to install a rather big mirror on an internal wall (there is one in the bathroom but it's so high I can just see my forehead!). I bought some 'Command adhesive strips' but we feel that won't be enought to support a heavy mirror in the long term. Would some brackets at the bottom of the mirror be a good idea? Can we screw that in the wooden wall?

Hi

You can buy proper mirror mounts in a DIY store, I wouldn't trust just the adhesive strips. Take the normal precautions when screwing into the wall.. ie , no hidden pipes, wires etc..

Hi Purday I am opposite to Jim on this put plenty of adhesive strips on and forget it :thumb: If you ever need to remove it you will have to use fishing line behind it and a sawing movement :thumb:

Could the answer be a plastic mirror? Cheaper mirrors these days are made from a sort of plastic and are very much lighter than the conventional glass type.
