Can anyone give me a bit more info where this huge American Carrier has moored up please???

I gather that it's moored off Stokes Bay i.e. just round the corner from Gosport towards Lee on Solent. Get anywhere close and I don't think you'll miss it ;-)

Thanks, that's what I understood but I just wondered if anyone had actually seen it.........yes, pretty hard to miss I agree but we don't know that area at all (New Forest call is too strong).

If you can see the IOW from stokes bay or lee on solent you cannot miss it, it is humungous.

I think you can see the IOW from most places down there, the very first time we went we didn't realise it was an island even, we just thought it was a headland as it looked so close
