Do they have to be steel? If you could get away with using plastic or fibre then 38mm is a standard plumbing size (inch and a half). Should be able to get something for pennies.

Have you tried a proper ironmongery or even b and q surely someone must have them at right price.
£12 for 4 washers , somebody's having a laugh there

It's only the 38mm internal dia. that is critical the outside dia can be anything, although 45 - 55 mm would look better. :)

As rb62 said. Agricultural supplier/ mole valley farmers in Devon/ any tractor place really.
Any one with a 38mm starrett hole cutter could knock one up from a bit of 3mm in no time,

Hi mike dawn. Just had a look. Got a steel washer 50mm o/d. I can make the internal whtever you need. Ie 38mm.
It's just a little under 3mm thick . Let me know and I'll post it in morning if you want... I'll clean it up of course lol
