Well I woke up at "daft-o-clock" this morning with butterflies in my tummy. After finally getting the Motorhome back yesterday with its now fully functioning fridge it was action stations as we loaded as much as we could. Just the last few bits to load today and a chilli to make to stick in the freezer to aid us on the journey down to Spain. We still haven't fitted the tyre pressure alert thingies which we bought last year so I have told Glynn it's his main job for the day before we head to the weighbridge to check our weight ( even though we will be well under but need to know how many bottles of wine can be added :wine::rofl:). Does anybody know if the process of fitting them will cause air to escape? Should we pump the tyres to the correct temperature before or after fitting them? Are they easy to do? We leave at 4am tomorrow to head for the Eurotunnel, oooooh I am sooooo excited. We will be away until 30th September so we expect to clock up some serious miles on the bikes!! Let's hope there is less rain than we had in France last year!! :cooler:

He's way too handsome for his own good already, must be all the lay-ins he's had since he gave up work

Look forward to meeting up with you and Carole, hopefully in the not too distant future :wine::party: xx

You've got me almost as excited as you CB, have a really lovely time.

I wish my main job for the day was just to inflate tyres to the correct pressure.

You are going to fit something less than 24 hours before a journey? I wouldn't! What happens if you find you have 4 flat tyres at dark o'clock tomorrow morning?

But I'm sure you will be fine, don't listen to me, just a worrier. Have a great trip.

Just check the tyre pressures before you go to bed tonight!

Thanks for all the lovely messages guys and gals. Managed to get everything done except the weighbridge but as we had so much spare payload last year it wasn't too important. Number one son is taking us out for a Carvery in a minute so I can get my last roast dinner fix before swapping it for paella and Rioja!! Still got butterflies, I am like a kid at Christmas :clap2::party2::cooler::wine::rofl:
