Not sure why but I am just getting an error message from your link. I have read of radio activity by aurora this afternoon. (6 metre band)

EDIT: Tried the link again & now it is working.

I get these email alerts as well, this looks like the biggest solar event activity for years

Typical MH parked up having work done or I would be on my way north

10 days too early for us ... can someone bottle it so we can see it when we arrive in Scotland next week?

Where do I look?

North north east, but you would need to be very lucky to see anything as far south as Gloucestershire, but this is as good a chance as we have had for years

worth a look if clear sky and not too much light pollution (y)

Well nothing here tonight, so far at least. I'll have another peak while I'm brushing me teeth but the signs for Friday are not good either. The three main hotels in Torshavn have been fully booked for 2 years apparently with visitors from the USA and Australia, oh dear.

:crying:Bl**dy typical after weeks of watching aurora forecasts and thinking we would go north to try and see lights and solar eclipse we decided today to go south!

They are now issuing a RED ALERT. Even that fantastic show last Feb. was only an amber so Red should be a once in a lifetime if it is good visibility i.e. no moon/clouds

That was for yesterday. Click on the link in the first post to see what is happening now - not a lot I think.
