Solution? It depends what you want to do. We have a lead to mirror the content of the iPad/phones through the tv.

I assume @Dogsense is interested in the content that Apple TV can provide (which is a lot(y)). It would require a quality invertor ....... http://sterling-power.com/products/pro-power-sb-pure-sine-wave-inverters?variant=891674727

The Apple TV would only draw half an amp from the battery so a low powered invertor would do the job. I have an earlier version of the 300w model that has always performed faultlessly with high tech equipment.

Of course you will need a separate internet source.........

I need investor, would like to have one that would be right for charging EBikes Batteries and sometimes hair drier ...

Inverters are rated by wattage.. so whatever you plan to use requires an inverter with the wattage of the appliance plus about 20%..

to work out just how much each uses.. look at the data plate for the watts or wattage..
the formula is watts/voltage = amps,.. so divide this number by 12 to get the current drawn.. so for every 100 watts you will be drawing about 8.5 amps from the leisure battery

but it's a dad idea to use the leisure battery to charge ebike batteries, it will soon be flat.. likewise a hairdrier.. unless you have a big battery bank and a method of recharging ..

Thanks ScotJimland.
I think I mixed 2 inverteres:
One to charge Apple TV, Hair dryer, phones etc srom 12V socket.
One for carging Ebikes batteries while driving, from van battery.

Wate the recommendations please.

Ok .. for the Apple tv.. you need a pure sine wave, and I think the smallest they make is 150 watt.. this one from Maplins would do the trick Broken Link Removed

Do you know the wattage of the ebike charger ?

Skygo, BBC iPlayer, BTsport

Not sure how many of these will work outside the UK or whether that matters to you and I know that SkyGo at least won't work if you connect TV or other external display to your mobile device.

Hi. If you can solder and don't mind opening up the Apple Tv then it can be converted to run off 12v. The actual device only needs 3.4v, so you just need to remove the 240v power supply, fit a 12v to 3.4v convertor and you can hook it straight to the 12v supply in the van.

I did mine - it cost £5 for the parts and works perfectly.

There are some instructions on the web from another guy who did it:
