I've been infected by bing (1 Viewer)

My laptop's browsers have been taken over, whichever search engine I try to use the address bar changes to " sb players" then the bing search engine comes up?
I've tried reloading both chrome &yahoo but it still comes back as soon as I go online.
Had a quick search from this tablet & it seems I'm not the only one.
My phone & tablet seem ok so far.
HELP!

If you click on your browser search box it should show you a list of installed search engines. If the rogue one is there you can remove it.
Otherwise I would run Malwarebytes.

No, but then Ive got the sound turned off.

And once you have removed it run a program like C CLEANER to clear all the last dregs from the registry or bits of the program will keep popping up.

Poblem is toget c cleaner I need to go online & when I try to it reloads itself and then blocks anything like that from being downloaded.
When I clear the browser it says they are removed but they're not.

But maybe a memory slot. If so download onto removable memory, pop into a USB reader and pop into laptop.

Does it stop you from downloading anything and everything?

Have you tried looking for any new programmes through Control Panel, check for anything installed today or since you last had a working internet. If it looks odd then uninstall it. It will probably leave a load of stuff in the registry which could still cause problems and leave you at square one. If you can get back on and download CC or Malware then run them both but @ScotJimland put me and others onto Revo Uninstaller which is a super piece of software. It's the Heineken of the pc cleaners, reaching parts etc. That will clear everything deep in the registry that ConPan doesn't. Good luck, just been there myself hence the Revo.

Every time I try to download any thing like anti virus or registy cleaner is says

Ok so I'm currently running a very deep scan but after 15 mins it's only 1% so it'll take all night if not longer so we'll see what happens tomorrow.

OK, so thanks for all your help, so far so good.
After the deep scan it said problems were detected with the browser(I forget the jargon used)& recommended switching to a different browser. I was then able to download c cleaner before it infected that browser too. Anyway, I was able to run c cleaner, delete all my browsers( & a load of old stuff), reinstall my computer to an earlier time, run the scan again & c cleaner twice more.
Fingers crossed.

You should never do this if you think your system is infected with something. If you do it you are risking whatever it is then infecting all your backups and restore information. Not all nasties do it but a lot do. If it happens you end up with far more problems than you started with.
