Loved every moment. Not a single regret. Thought hubby was bonkers when he suggested it following his 10th Glasto, but first in friends campervan and I had spent a week at a rather swanky 5* hotel on the algarve. On this occassion(and I will say this only once ) he was absolutely right.
2 more Europe trips already booked this year and just returned from skiing.

:LOL:
Oh no!

You forgot the headlamp converters, hi viz vests, spare bulbs, warning triangle, speed stickers and breathalysers!!!!!!

How did you escape fines and imprisonment?!!!:rofl:

Living life on the edge :D regarding headlamps (actually brand new german van so not needed, but you made me think and apparently Dominic did check)
The list was all the additional - already had breathalyser, sat nav, vests etc
However forgot to include
Snow shovels
Collapsible 3.4m ladder
Weird cleaning solution which removes grime at a squirt
More weird solution to spray on rear view camera and windscreen to keep clear when it rains,
(You can tell these had nothing to do with me - distinctly "men's stuff!)
Rechargeable cordless vacuum
Baguette bag

You've had a good first year. There is a southern Europe too, look towards the back of the road atlas. :)

It tends to mean more miles and work commitments may not give you enough time. We are just starting our third year and planning for an overland trip to Greece via Romania in 2016 has already started.

So who looks after your garden and cleans the house, don't tell me;
You have a penthouse with Staff or the garden is a tip and so is the house.

would love to go further south, but you're right - work gets in the way. We are doing a go East approach at the moment.
We also have a "when we have more time" list of which Greece, Romania and Croatia is part of. Looking forward to hearing about your travels

somethings are just essential, decent coffee being one of them!

So who looks after your garden and cleans the house, don't tell me;

You cant see what a mess the house is when you spend all your time away in the motorhome! :D I admit I do have a bit of help in with it though. As for the garden it did suffer last year, and will definitely need a bit more love, beyond mowing the grass this year, just not sure when though

I have both - one for hook up and one for without
Really cant compromise on coffee

However, keeping in theme of MHF lovers of Aldi/Lidl - they do amazing capsules, which fit the nespresso for a fraction of the price and taste as good. Only found them in mainland europe though, so stock up everytime

Not the year I went...

Got in free and parked right behind the Cabaret Tent... fabulous weather all week and only mixed with the "ordinary" clients when I wanted to... :rofl::rofl:

Blimey, what am I letting myself in for by visiting Somerset? Perhaps I don't need to look for campsites with boat launching facilities!

Of course it never rains (or snows) here in East Anglia. ;)
