We are just doing a little road trip, and would like to share a few observations.
The airs at Beaune is fantastic , only 10 minutes from the "rue de Soleil" next door to a Carrefour, which opens at 8.30am, but the petrol station over the road sells fresh Baguettes. Even if the 8 campervan bays are full just drive through between a couple of posts into the large car park. Beaune centre is only a 5minute walk, and is a foody heaven.
In St Tropez, airs number 2 is a little quiet and isolated out of season, more seems to happen in Ste Maxime.
Having just paid our 'peage' at Nancy, we were stopped by the Gendarmerie, they asked for our papers and weighed the van, we were ok, I guess drinking the Stella the night before May have helped.

Note to self, remember to empty the loo, pointless leaving a note to SWMBO about the loo, that ensure the loo is empty before travelling over the rough Belgian motorways.

Diesel in Luxembourg is currently €1.07 a litre.

In Amsterdam stay at Camping Zeeburg, only a 20min bike ride to the central station.

When in France remember to keep really close to the right when driving, because when a French ' white van man' comes around a corner, over the White line, and smashes the wing mirror, it still seems to my fault !!

Every trip is an adventure, and every trip is a learning curve....

Just to be sure we take enough with us, what papers did they want to see?

Where did they take you to be weighed? I once got escorted by police on motorbikes in my tugging days, for a minor infringement (750 euros cash!! for having a snooper in car, I know I should have known better) but the speed the took me at I thought I would get another ticket when we arrived :D
