We will possibly be getting off ferry at Fishguard having come from Ireland in August. It might be midnight when we get off, anybody know of a place to park up till morning.(y):)

Out of the ferryport, go left at roundabout,past tesco express and garage on right then turn
right into large free car park.Did an overnight here last August no problems.

Last time we were there, there were three Dutch Maggie Duetz convertions, an RV (with the onboard gennie running) and a couple of european vans.

Unless things have changed in recent years there shouldnt be a problem.

Strictly speaking Pembrokeshire don't allow sleeping/camping in their car parks but, from what Bob and John say, it appears they don't enforce it. I suppose, like many councils, they would only go to the trouble of doing so if it became a problem.

Im sure its a private carpark Graham..to the side of and behind Tesco and probably belonging to them.

The ones i refered to where in the larger pay n display carpark opposite.

Yeah...thats the one.
i thought it was part of the convenience store.

The next over towards the water is council but i thought it was pay n display
The council has a mixture of free and charged car parks. They have a map for Fishguard Here.

Go past Tesco etc., up the hill and there's a lovely little off-the-road lay-by overlooking the harbour, on the left by the 1st. right-hand bend...
