The lad went back today for a second look and bought a 2000 Hymer B 544 2.8 JTD.
His first motorhome but hes done well its a beauty. One owner 27000 miles full history immaculate inside and out.
Loaded with extras as well jammy bugger.
Hope he enjoys it as much as we do.:)

On and off for many years.
Our previous motorhome was Hymer so I'm biased but think he has made a good choice.

May he enjoy long and happy and safe travels for many years.

I think we all feel a bit more relaxed after the first trip when we have spotted the inevitable teething problems.

We've had a 12 year old Hymer for 4 & 1/2 years now our 3rd van and also our oldest (sold a nearly new one to buy it) but also head and shoulders above anything else we've owned. Cannot see us ever having anything else and we use our van a lot and give it a hard life covering at least 10000 miles a year all year round. That probably influenced his decision but he's a smart kid a mechanic and makes his own mind up and does his research before he parts with any dosh.

Our previous MH was a Hymer/Fiat. It was a great MH and we only parted with it because it was written off late last year when we had a massive blowout on the M4

Is there room in the back for the bikes though? Congrats to your lad on the purchase. My MH is the best part of my racing set up.

Only just run in.

Does this mean you'll not be able to drag him on bike rides to race tracks ?

No way he's as bike mad as me and a far better track day rider than I ever was or could be but still cant live with me on dirt.

Is there room in the back for the bikes though? Congrats to your lad on the purchase. My MH is the best part of my racing set up.

He'll find a way that's why we have the van we have the 650 fits in the garage.
