The fob for my Cobra alarm broke so got the spare out and fitted a new battery.
Used this video to try and link / programme it to the van but no joy it sets the alarm which then promptly goes off within a few seconds. Need to sort it as van is now parked in storage with no alarm activated.
Any ideas.
Driving me bloody nuts.

Mate of mine his fob ended up in bits, I ordered him a new one on line from a third party for around fifteen pounds it arrived in a couple of days and works a treat.

since 2007, 25 years tuggin before that.
Are you sure those instructions are for your alarm?
Cobra use the same style of fob a number of different alarms.
They look the same on the outside but the inside's are different as is the programing method.

Did you not get any paperwork or a card with the reset code etc.?
If you can find the control box the model No. will be on it.
It will be behind the dash, usually by the fusebox, just follow the wire from the flashing LED.
