Looked at booking RV with Sea France before Christmas and just looked again now for the Parc Verger meet in August, and its gorn up by £21 squid:Eeek::Doh:
Now here is the question is that a result of the Poor £ v E or is it because the sailing date is closer, do I wait or do I book????????????????????????
Now please take this very seriously as there is over £20 at stake here, and that would cover fuel to get me off my forcourt:ROFLMAO:

Thought your forecourt was bigger than that! :ROFLMAO:

As to the price change - I have never ever managed to get quoted the same price, twice even on the same ferry sailing at the same time - so I'm no help at all. :Eeek:

I know what you mean I have experienced the same.
BUT this time before Christmas the same price came up about a dozen times over a 4 day period so I thought they had stopped messing for a change:Doh:

Afraid it's down to nothing more than demand.

You could get a cross channel return ferry fare on New Years day for as little as £20. Reason is simple......no demand because 98% of folk are too ****ed up from the night before. Sailings on New Years eve were all at silly money as they could fill the ferries full of folk anxious to party. The 2% that stayed sober got the opportunity of a real bargain.

P&O currently have a day return offer on of £19......only catch is it's for cars only, not motorhomes!

It's worth registering with both P&O and SeaFrance to get email of any offers going, plus always cross check each operator.

Ferry prices

Hi John
Just seen your attachment re Norfolk Line ferry prices, you forgot to add on the charge for length of vehicle, we have just done a search for a ferry price to France in May, got the same information that you have highlighted but then saw you had to fill in vehicle length, when we did this the fare went up by £60 - £90 dependant on length of Motorhome.

Norfolkline punish you for towing with a motorhome. Seems mad to me. They are doing special rates for the CC at the moment with car and van.

I won't bother booking the ferry now Geo, seeing as you've paid for a toad I'll just hitch up to your towbar and go for free :thumb:
