Pre-check today regarding gas and electric heating, I now find that I cannot get any gas (Heating, Stove, or Fridge ) to work. Checked gas propane bottles both full, pressed green reset button on regulator, checked green and blue taps inside the van were in the "On" position.
NO gas getting through. I think I must have a defective regulator. A right bummer as I was going to have a week away from tomorrow.
Can these regulators be serviced? or is it a replacement? that is needed.

As an after thought would this be a good time to upgrade to a Gaslow system ?
by the time I pay for a replacement regulator and fitting, how much would the difference in cost be?

Can anyone give me a quote on a Gaslow system fitted please.

You would still have to replace the regulator. The gaslow only replaces the bottles using the existing regulator.

Tyou could get a replacement truma regulator ( costly ) or why not just get a regular propane or butsne regulator and an adaptor to fit the hose to the system. I think the regulAr propane regulator are not as sensitive to the oil contamination from the gas bottles. There must be an adaptor to allow a push fit hose connection which should allow you to continue with your holiday plans :)

What size is the feed from your regulator to the appliences?
I have an 8 mm one that I bought but needed a 10 mm so I could let you have the 8 mm at a good price if you're interested

If you have the secumotion regulator with the button you should also have buttons to push down on your hoses near the valve on the gas bottles. :xgrin: Bob.

Timing is fortunate, we expect to be back home around the end of April.
