I have in my van the normal dash that shows a rear heated windscreen. The same that you get on a car. Its all wired in and when switched on it lights up to indicate its doing something. So what is it doing? it is certainly not heating the rear window as its only a bathroom window. is it possibly for heated mirrors or some other gadget I dont know about?

its only the switch light coming on Paul, its not connected to anything else.

could be a useful switch for an additional step light or something along those lines though.:thumb:

Mine also has no rear screen to heat but is also the switch for the heated mirrors so if it's a Peugeot/Fiat/ Citroen then it's probably the same.

My Mercedes has the same switch. It also lays claim to heated mirrors but has no obvious switch for them. As the mirrors are very large coach style ones I'm sure they can't just be on all the time so perhaps this is the switch:thumb:
