Post reply not working (1 Viewer)

I've just tried to post a reply on the thread - is the site being used as a social media forum, but it won't post. I have tried the 'reply to thread' button about four or five times now Jim, so if it suddenly starts to work, my reply will be on there quite a few times - apologise in advance.....

Very strange, clearly you are posting here, but not there. Are there any clues for helpers or Jim ? Any error message ? Do you get as far as a quote then type a message then POST ?

Silly questions I know but all I can think of.

Sounds like your browser cache is corrupt. Clear it and I'm sure that will sort it

How do I do that - wouldn't know where to start!

I am able to type the message and when I push the 'reply' button I get a little black moving marker in the top right hand corner and then nothing! Just posted a reply to Jim, so when I find out how to clear my cache I will hopefully be able to sort it!

What browser are you using? In Firefox I click on Options/Advanced/Network and Clear Cache from there. You will have something similar under Tools or a Settings Tab somewhere in the browser bar for other providers.

I'm having same problermo even after clearing cashe and signing in again (using Chrome)

works OK on this thread.... odd

Edit: see...... posted on here and just tried it again on social media topic and it wont let me, but others have posted since

I've sometimes been getting no box at the end of the thread to "Write reply here" (or similar) and no "Post Reply" button\s.
But only sometimes!
