Truma Boiler (1 Viewer)

Much simpler question than the last one.

Is it ok to just leave the Truma Water boiler on and not worry about it over heating and blowing up. I can see that you would always need to ensure the water tank has plenty in it. We have spent all this year switching it off after washing up and had to tolerate cold water when washing hands. Sound familiar?

I did leave it on once, and a Red light came on instead of green, did this just mean it has reached temperature? I only put it up to 40 deg.

Lots of people leave it on all the time as it is on a thermostat. I don't .. because I am a miser with my gas and I only need hot water for very short space of time in a morning and last thing at night.

I am sure someone else will come along and tell you something different though.

Right, well I still had gas, I switched it off, left it and then used it again in the normal way, and it continued to operate, although I did think it was perhaps not has hot as it should be. I may have to test it before I go away in it again.

water heater on for shower, boil a kettle for washing up no problem.

Just have ours on for an hour morning and evening.

Joy, do you not use it on hookup?, you,ve paid for it, so leave it on!

40 deg is only warm switch it to 60 then you'll feel the difference.
