So whats the bestest site? :)

my fave is arena blanca. because....

its small,
my mate Syd has a static there,
his wife looks after me (have never got the hang of those infernal washing machine thingys!!!)
free, just about acceptable wifi (with an aerial)
UK tv on serviced pitchs. (some small but we have a panel van and not greedy:giggle:)
cheap monthly rates
convenient, mind you most are....

mind you have never stayed anywhere else! :D

never stayed there and must admit didnt like the site when i went round it to have a look
villasol is good but i dont like the fact you only have lecci on the pitch so no grey waste and no fresh water
arerello was great but that was in july (last year) very overcrowded at this time
benisol is also good but hard to get on there this time of year
the rest no idea never stayed on em
this year might be raco depends we will sort when we get there

Strange I phoned to Book over Xmas and was told higher price if i book but cheaper (ACSI Rate 18€) if i just turn up? The guy said there would be plenty of space that time of year and not to worry? May call tomorrow and try booking at 18€ typically in Spain though you get different answers each time?

Am not sure which is the best site in Benidorm. I think its more a traditional thing than anything. When long terming you get to know the people on a particular site, as they return each year and after a few years its like going home. Am now on my 15th winter on La Torreta and would never consider anywhere else. I have a fully serviced pitch with tap, dump, English TV and 4 Kw of electric per day for E15 per day. Good wifi for E20 per month and a 1 minute walk to the bar, restaurant and pool. There is a new shower block and toilet 20 yards from my pitch with a full room to myself. I can be in the Tropical in 3 minutes dead if there is anything on. If I fancy a day out, the bus stop is 50 yards away for old town or Albia.

Hi, we met Sydney when we first stayed on Arena Blanca. What a great guy he is.

We had a problem with our exhaust and he drove us to Villajoyosa to a garage to get it sorted.

He also took us to pick it up. A nicer man you couldn't meet.
His wife is lovely as well.

If it is the same Syd, he has a disabled son Lee.
Give him our regards next time you see him.
Lesley and Alan from Ilfracombe.

Including kitchen sink and inflatable boat with outboard motor. The trailer gives me the choice, so as when long terming I have all my home comforts, but when touring I can leave the trailer at home and rough it with the rest of you :D

Nope, I have a van with a 2 ton payload and a trailer with another 2 ton payload. Sometimes its enough, and sometimes I have to leave some stuff at home :D, Its all a compromise you know.
