Back on the road after a 4 yr break
I own a 3 yr old Nexo. I have rusty water running down the back of the van, the source is water getting in to the top back horizontal section (with the Burstner logo). The dealer says the screws appear to be rusted, says he has another Burstner coming in for the same reason. Has anyone else on this forum had this problem? If so I will be contacting Burstner outlining the problem.

Don't know, but just had problems with my reversing camera which is on that section as it rotted and fell off. When Andy63 repaired it, apparently it was damp inside the section .. don't know though whether the water had gone in through the camera section .. Hopefully Andy will see this and come on. I don't want it to build up inside and not be knowing about it.

Thank you for posting about it.

Now for the real answer
Bursner are a good firm from a good group.
If this is a recuring problem I am sure it will be rectified without delay.

I don't mind owning up to having a Burstener (Elegance 890)
Really love it
Thankfully no rust running anywhere - but I will be keeping a watch

I found with my Autotrail CI when I had the same problem was that someone had sealed the bottom of the "upstairs" brakelight, and the water was collecting behind the light, once I'd removed the seal at the bottom of the strip and resealed the top, the problem was sorted

Surprised they didn't use stainless steel screws given the cost difference on number used
If they replace them insist they are grade A4 SS screws
