Mmmmmm, slider? Not seen one, I've seen swivel and tilt, comes out on an arm but slide, no. I've been looking for one for a few weeks too.

......And on the same theme, looking for a sliding 'plate' type bracket a microwave could sit on, and be slid just a few inches out of an overhead cupboard. Any practical ideas welcomed...(y)

There is a company called Hafel'e, I think they are based in Rugby but they sell through some DIY and furniture fitting suppliers.

Me neither. Thought about adapting a drawer slider kit.........But if I can find a pro sold job, all the better.

Yes you could do that, I think I may have seen it in a MH we were looking at where I saw it perhaps.

Its one of those niggling things Paul. The unit sits well into an overhead, but it's a sod getting the mike door open because it's recessed inside. The boss wants it to slide out...and so...:)

Might be able to help.

I have an old style slide and swivel TV bracket in my garage.
Came out of an overhead locker.

I'll take some pics tomorrow and post them on this thread.

Not saying it is what you want but heavy enough to take a 14" to 15" tube type television.
The plate may need adapting to suit and lock the swivel in one position

We have a slide out and drop down TV bracket.

The TV locks up in the horizontal position and slides back into the cabinet. When it slides out the TV can drop down and then be rotated through 360 degrees. It came with the van and is a bit like this one.

Firstly....apologies from hijacking the thread.

Pics as promised.

Very substantial and Made by CTA of Italy.

Overall dimensions are......
length open 63.5cm
length closed 34cm
width of tray 29.5cm
runner centres 15.5cm
overall depth 3.5cm
weight 2.7kg
capacity 20kg

There are 4 x slots in the tray for securing straps and 4 x holes (2each runner) for fixing screws.
Very slight rust marks UNDER the runners....no idea where that came from but not visible when fitted.
plate has 360deg swivel.
the runners are on ball bearings and lock in place when closed.

PM me if interested and we can agree a price....thinking £25 plus carraige.
