Saw this on my FB. Heartbreaking to think this can happen and would the insurance pay out.

Let's hope the lady has good insurers or a good broker. There really are some Grade A scumbags about aren't there.

How can these thieves live with themselves? Makes your blood boil. Hope she gets it back undamaged.

How truly awful. I desperately hope she gets it back soon and without damage. The people who would do this make me heartily sick and I wonder how they sleep at night.

many many years! since I was a kid
with modern vehicles there's only 2 easy ways to steal them, and burgling the home for keys is by far the easiest. Crime prevention specialists always recommend locking the keys away in a discrete place. too many of us just walk in the door and put the keys on the hallway table or hang them by the door. I know I am guilty of this on occasions and don't put the keys away in the safe

another point is that your van is most vulnerable when you are getting it ready to go on a trip

I work in the 'Security Industry'; they can sleep at night and live with themselves without any problem. Their masters drive Lamborghini's and travel all over Europe (and beyond) organising all manner of criminality from people trafficking to fine art theft . The police (for the most part) do what they can but against large scale organised crime they are almost totally impotent. This van was probably stolen to order like so many other items are nowadays, and without a (high grade) tracker fitted it'll almost certainly not be recovered, sadly.

I really hope so and would enjoy being proved wrong. If it is recovered, opportunists who don't now know what to do with it. Let's hope it's undamaged.

It'll be headed for Southern Ireland

They should notify the various port police to be on the lookout Wales to Ireland is well used by these cretins

Mine has a tracker so if any low life tries to nick it they won't get far as it will, besides phoning me, also call a mate of mine AND the police & give them its position. I can also listen in to whats going on

Did they catch the scrotes who nicked it?
Also why are the cops not giving it back immediately? There's absolutely no reason for them to hang on to it and if they do its not unknown for bits to go missing while in their 'care'

If anyone here actually knows them tell them to go and inspect the MH to ensure everything is there (take photos). Then when they return the MH it will hopefully be untouched
