Thule QuickFit canopy tent (1 Viewer)

Anyone purchased and using the ' Thule QuickFit '..( the tent that fits under your winch out awning)..if so is it any good??

Can't help but we have the windblockers (or is windbreakers?) thing which can form a tent or awning under the wind-out awning. From pictures it looks very like the idea Thule are using.

However, the problem with our windy thing is unlike a typical caravan awning it isn't very stormproof and in any sort of stiff breeze the roof of the wind-out awning tends to flap up and down. We use tie-downs but there is a limit as to how much tension you can put on these because the legs of the wind-out awning are telescopic and can't take a lot of compression. And tie downs only stop the awning taking off, they don't really tension the roof very much so you still get the flapping.

We have looked at the Fiamma Pro Blockers ( side version) must admit never gave the wind issue a thought..however, does your central fit Rafter not help? I do take your point regarding the compression on the awnings telescopic legs but don't forget these legs are designed to take the weight of Fiamma privacy rooms..we had a 2.5 meter PR fitted to our Fiamma 2.5 F45s ( Mazda Bongo) and we never had any issues during heavy rain storms etc,etc

Got a standard Kampa awning, and use it slid into the wind out. Brill.

We don't have a rafter but you can tension the awning against the tie-down straps but it still flaps, which keeps me awake - so we wind it in at night. Easy enough when it is just the awning but if you have some sort of tent attached it is more stuff to pack away. TBH we rarely use the windblocker these days because of this issue that it is OK in light winds but I wouldn't want to leave it up in strong winds.
