Greetings,

Following on from above;
When it says in a book/website that the Aire is closed ie. after the season has finished, say 31st October.
Does that mean that a motorhome can't stop/overnight there, or does it mean that they've switched off the water, leccy etc for the winter but you can carry on using the facility of the space.

Sorry for the seemingly stupid question but I/We don't want a knock on the door at stupid o'clock.

... how long is a bit of string! It depends!!! Some aires are part of a campsite so may be inaccessible, some may be used for other purposes 'out of season', or some as you suggest may just have the facilities turned off ...

Yes you can still stay on them, we found that many still had water connected until it got really cold :)

I should add I mean in France
