Hello all , I joined short while ago but today paid my subs , had my first camper van about 1985 - was a VW bay window , kept until it was a bit of a squeeze for 5 of us , then moved to a caravan for a while then back to a tent , then about 10 years ago bought another VW - a T25 or type 3 van as our kids had grown up and we were back to holidays on our own + 2 dogs , still have the T25 but also bought a
Compass Calypso on a VW T4 chassis four years ago and just back home yesterday from our latest
trip of 600 miles starting two weeks ago at Llangollen then a week in Blackpool then back into Wales
to finish up in Aberystwyth then back home , we are away quite often and are members of the C&C club and motorhome section plus Caravan club which we joined whilst on holiday in the lake district
at Coniston water .
I live near Abergavenny in S.Wales within the Brecon Beacons national park .

Which campsite did you stay on ?
We were on Aberystwyth holiday village , bargain until end of October only £10 per night all inclusive of hookup
clubhouse and indoor pool plus within walking distance of the town

One of my favourite local(ish) ) sites is Monnow bridge in Monmouth , great location and lovely town to wander round , pubs are pretty good too
Pandy is pretty good too with pub on the doorstep .
