After boating for many years took to the tarmac with a MH. Now on our second one after 4 or 5 years. Just returned from a really random (and fantastic) 5 week tour of Brittany and Normandy as our first European trip.

Whereabouts near Glossop? I grew up in Hadfield and (though I left in 1968) my Mum still lives there. There are a couple of other Glossopians/ex-Glossopians on the forum as well.

Hi Gandhi - We're from Padfield! Lived there for 20 years before we retired in 2006. Now up at Windy Harbour for a few weeks visiting family and friends.

It feels great not to be clock watching, although I am still getting used to it, feels like I am just having a few days off work at the mo. Mind you I am still working hard as we have just started doing up a house we are going to let out.

I must start a new countdown for when we are starting travelling.
