We were on the North coast a fortnight ago where we saw quite a few GB vans and met Scattycat who was in a French one.
We're south of the Loire at the moment and heading for the Puy de Fou on Thursday.

We are 1 of four GB vans today at Gouville sur mer, the most I've seen at one time so far, still no funsters though.. Moving on tomorrow just not decided where to yet.

Think they're all in Devon/Cornwall if the number of motorhomes I saw going south on the M5 the other day is anything to go by. Motorhomes outnumbered caravans by about 10 to 1 which I thought was interesting :)

Caravans = generally families.. school has started, so most are now off the road..
Motorhomes = Boomers on the loose :D

Not long enough, but a little common sense helps..........
We are currently in the Dordogne area and have seen loads of UK plated MH's, but no "funster" stickers.

I am not surprised that you have seen so few GB plated motorhomes in France. We are presently at Camping Bled Slovenia and the majority of vans are British, seeming on the way to Croatia. The weather on the journey down was variable but the last few days have been sunshine. Lets hope that is the case when we move on.

We are enroute to Mt St Michael now...any aires to recommend ??

When we wanted to visit Mont St Michel in June last year we stayed on the aire at Moidrey which we found very good. Only downside is its about a 40 minute walk along the river before you get to the shuttle bus for the mont. It was 8 euros to park up then 3 euros for 15 minutes of water and 55 minutes of electricity.

At the time we were in the area I believe they were building a new aire closer to the mont so things might have changed by now.

Have fun.

Not sure it did seem more like a site compared to some of the aires we've stayed on but there was also a campsite across the road...we were happy with it apart from the pesky mozzys made a meal of us.

yes, on the Google map at street view you can see the sign saying it is an aire.. looks great and thanks for posting, it's not listed on campingcar infos yet
