I really fancy it. Must have a nice area where do u park jj

Well, to list all my parkups over the last 30 years would take a long, long time!

(but very, very, very few were campsites)

Currently parked up at Portimao Marina (Praia da Rocha).

I understand it wasn't that great for you Jim but it has been brilliant for me...

I live in my van as a lifestyle choice.

Never even sleep one night in my apartment...

If my kids visit they stay in the van too (or my son books into a luxury hotel).

you misunderstand JJ.. I said living in a vdub no thanks

I enjoyed my 3 years living in the RV.. but not for ever and not with a family.. I'd probably do it again if single.. that would be quite different..

The term 'living in a van' is a bit vague I think. First what is living? Is it every day & night using it as if it were a house? And a van? How big? 4, 5,6,10 metres long? 2, 3, 4 wide 2, 3, 4 metres high? On your own? With partner? With family? static, mobile? with utilities?
I have spent the last 18 months all but sleeping in the van every night but am i living in it when is in the garden?

dont bother with most of it ,daughter opens and sorts it anything needing atention she rings us and we sort it . we have done plenty for our kids (and still do) so they are quite happy to do this for us . most people we deal with are used to the way we live by now so not a problem . no doubt there are some who would find aproblem with this but it works for us .(y)(y)(y)STAN

And some people don't think kids are a burden, so include them in the original dream.
I dont remember using the word BURDEN?
What i was asking is how do you live in a van,mh,rv when you have a young ever increasing family. I know many have done it for generations but all the full timers i have ever known went from brick to wheels then back to brick.
Is it really possible to live your whole live in a van. IN THIS COUNTRY

We're having a families' micro-meet this weekend. Three vans, two full timing families, one brick box family, five adults, eight kids, one metric shedload of fun (y)

There will be other families IN THIS COUNTRY doing similar things in their brick boxes but we choose to do it in our fibreglass boxes. :)
