This unit and trailer have just pulled into the Aire, where we are...

Cracking thing with double wheels and fixed on 2 tow balls...

With no brakes... (y)

Yes it is..... (y) But not much movement on the springy thing.... but I suppose it`s enough..

havent you seen them before . there was companies making them in uk.
they have been around for years .
ideal for reversing .
have known trouble with the bearings on the struts go though .

As Alan said, they was a company making them in the UK, as I recall they went bust due to problems with wheels and or bearings collapsing.. can't recall the name.. used to see them at shows.

The wheels, bearings and suspension in the OP trailer don't look very substantial to me.. more like wheels from a warehouse trolley .. far too small.. can't see them lasting very long ..

i cant remember it either but i do recall i think it was a member of this forum having a problem with a set up in france . they are common there . think they went to the factory in france and got sorted . someone will know the name .

yes have seen both . liked the idea till you think of a puncture etc .
mind you do see several in spain in the winter.

I suspect they would be a standard 8" trailer wheel and tyre. (y)

Looks a good idea but how easy are they to reverse?.....usually the smaller the trailer The harder it is

Not sure about the one in the photo above but on the HydraTrail they swing around like a shopping trolley and the actual trailer is fixed to the rear of the motorhome and does not articulate like a trailer.

yes you just reverse as normal.
i just looked the hydrotrail says 250kg gvw . seen some french ones with two harleys on the back . that would be very heavy.
couldnt get my drifter on its 345kg .

Few more photo`s.... It belongs to a french guy and he has done about 25K Kilometers with it all round France/Spain?Portugal/Italy and Germany..

Close up it looks a beefy lump, and has a side ways winch so he can pull the bike on..
