Oh well, I sold my lovely Bessecarr this evening, Miss him already (Herbie) :(

Im looking for a replacement now, no rush but let me know if you know of anything that might fit the following bill -

LHD
Fixed Rear Bed (possible compromise here) above a good size garage.
Big 100lt fresh water tank.

Looking to tour Europe climbing for weeks on end soon so looking for the above creature comforts.
Budget....Depends but I'm thinking in the teens really, maybe higher for a perfect van.... :)

I've been watching online a Mclouis Lagan 2.0 Ducato.
I cant find the fresh water tank size anywhere. The owner thinks 100ltr, can anyone confirm ??

Many thanks

Mike

The 2.0 ducato is a pretty weedy engine. Only 84hp though it can be remapped up to about 110 ( I did that with my Newstar). Just a thought

I seem to recall that at the time there were comments that the 2.0L engine was supposedly worse than the 1.9L it replaced (which was a good engine).

HI Mike,
Just noticed your blog, our lovely 'Hetty' is now for sale. She's a Hymer B584, LHD. I've just been looking through the manual regarding the fresh water tank capacity. It's a little generic but states 'the capacity is 100 to 150 litres of fresh water'. There's two of us and normally can go for 3/4 days on a fill, having showers and normal use each day. I could do a more accurate measurement if needed. Fresh and waste tanks are also 'inboard' so winterised.
Our advert is posted in the Classified section but basic information: Solar panel/2 leisure batteries. No fixed bed but a large and comfortable pull down over-cab bed. We've just reduced her to £18,500.

Regards
John and Diane
