Hi, If you own a 32 mifi or dongle , PC world are doing a nano sim for £4.99 and a free adapter to make it up to full size sim, good value for 1 month 1 gb data at the end of use just throw away, cheaper than topping up your old sim with 3 which costs £ 10. hope this helps !!

£4.99 for just 1 Gb of data..... Expensive in my view.....

I have a 3 sim only monthly contract, 30 days notice if I wish to cancel.
5000 text, 3000 mins calls and Unlimited data per month. Last week we were in France, now in Italy. No roaming charges, including our calls and text back to UK and we are all online all the time..

I am typing this on my iPad at Lake Garda.....

Cost £12.99 per month, for me that's real value....(y)(y)

Even if capped at 20 or 25 Gb that is a heck of a lot more than a 1Gb data package for £4.99.

We have two 3phones with us with iPads tethered. We have been away 12 days so far..... Online all the time. Whilst I'm driving my wife and kids are online all the time. The wife is reading tourist info online from a Google App, so if we see a nice Chateau or castle she has all the info to hand... Cool.. (y)

if your off to France for a month and dont have any other options then £4.99 for basic internet access for the month on a mifi unit is good value.

Hi, expensive yep, but I only use the mifi when I am away (at home I use talktalk) and we are usually away for a month at a time , but only 2 hols this year so £4.99 the odd month is better than the £10 top up which is what I used to do. now I take 2 sim's just in case the first run's out. I don't bother if only away for the odd couple of days. Can't justify running a contract.

Be careful buying a 3 PAYG sim to go to France or elsewhere as I believe it has to be in use in Britain for 30 days before it works or does not attract roaming charges and there is also something about buying add ons. I am going to the 3 shop tomorrow to try to clarify this and will report back assuming I can speak to an assistant that knows what is what

Very confused, thought about getting a 3 sim either pay as you go or sim only but their website says you can't tether abroad although it looks like some people are doing it. Will be watching peoples experiences overseas with interest.

I am fairly certain that the PAYG sim only needs to be activated in the UK prior to using in France even though it does say 30 days on the packet.

I bought one in July and used it for a few days in the UK, my daughter has been using it in France since then and I think others have had a similar experience.
