Panel Warning buzzer (1 Viewer)

Hi I am a new member so this question may already have been asked.
I have a 2010 E560 and am getting a warning buzzer from the fresh water meter showing a red light and empty when I know I have just filled it up
can any one give any hints.

Hi Bob,

the level sensors are notoriously inaccurate, especially the grey tank sensor, and cant be relied upon at the best of times.

my advise....if its still under warrenty then take it back

if it isnt then disconnect the buzzer and ignore the gauge.

you know you've run out of water when nothing comes out the tap :thumb:

On my van, I switch the display panel off, leave for a few seconds to reset, then switch on again and the water alarm goes off. Don't know if this is any help.

I Had the same problem if you can see the top of the tank through the floor flap the guage is held in by three screws withdraw the guage and clean the sensors mine needed a clean after the Spanish water. Pete

Off thread, but how on earth did you unearth a three year old posting?

Only curious because I have in the past dived in with words of wisdom, likes and thanks (on the old forum) before realising the age and then finding the problem has long since been resolved

That said I guess this question comes up every other month or so anyway so new or old does it matter
