Fridge wont run on Gas anymore (1 Viewer)

Hi

The fridge in my van wont run on gas anymore, was ok at the start of the weekend. The yellow light flashes as it always did when you switch to gas but it wont go steady on. The fridge no longer clicks when the ignition thingy tries to light the fridge. Any ideas on how much this will be to fix and where I can get it done

Hi dave soundslike an igniter fault if you cant hear it clicking

Hi try the wireing to the igniter or thermo coupleing may have gone.

I read it as it wont light, but easy to check
Light with a match, if it stays lit thero couple ok

i had the same problem 2 weeks ago my fridge is a electrolux 4401 the pilot keeped going out i took off outer panel on side of van the pilot lite was full of soot cleaned it out know its perfect regards steve

Hope it isn't the igniter (the little grey box) ours went in france at easter, cost us 280 euros, ouch

hi we had the same problem a few years ago in the caravan we had before motorhome got a local caravan repair man to come out he said a spider had crawled up the gas pipe and blocked it cleaned it and it was fine he said there was a saftey feature that cuts the gas of if theres a blockage hope this is of some help

Just back from Peterborough, had the fridge fixed. They - Pioneer Caravans - fitted a new ingihtor box, still not working, new PCB, and still not working. Turned out to be a wire had been arcing and burnt out!!!

First class service from them as always.

hi we had same problem a few weeks ago took of outer grill and dusted with fine brush it worked after that ifs its blocked its a fail safe to stop a build up of gas or so i was told good luck

Just glad the fridge works now. I did leave a wad of fun fliers though. They were plesed to take them!!
