Today is a big day!:yeah::yeah::clap: Today is Max's 1st day as a French motorhome :birthday: ::bigsmile: ::bigsmile:

At last the Toulouse Préfecture gave me a permanent French registration!!
I thought this would never happen and here is my number.... in my hands!!:wooo::wooo:

My grey card will arrive by post and hopefully , I'll be able to take Max to the garage to have the number plate made and fitted. It would have been possible to do it today if I hadn't taken Max to his personal doctor .... a little leak was found and needed to be fixed!

Anyway .... a very Happy Bunny today! And as soon as grey card has arrived and plates are fitted.... BUBBLES !!! Thanks BTW to Kath and Howie who have provided the bubbles!! And thanks to my Prince who had to stand all my changing moods during a bit more than 3 months:Blush:

Well done Princess (and Max of course).

It took Frankie three months to get her German motorhome French registration.

It took Snowbird nine days to get his German motorhome Engish registration.

Vive la difference!

And we criticise the DVLA in the uk for being slow? If it were this slow, the DVLA threads would exceed gassing threads.

Nice one Frankie :thumb:. Its been a long hard slog but am sure it will be worth it. Having had dealings with the French system some years ago I do know the frustration you have felt. One thing in your favour is that all is now sorted in time for the summer rush to the coast .

No problem! In case I was not available for some reason , here is the link to the man who made it possible.

BTW , don't get your tyres changed in the UK ! Most of them are not accepted as proper ones here, just come along with old ones!
We can manage to meet up may be and have a good chat about all this ::bigsmile: (with a glass or 2.....or 3 as Old Mo would say :winky:)

Thats because in order to keep the abysmal French unenployment figures below 20% they employ four pen pushers to our one

So that is three more people able to put food on the table for their children?

And if there are 4 people doing the job of 1 shouldn't it get done a bit quicker?

Once again I am confused...

... but happy...

My Princess can go motorhoming.

I love it when a plan comes together!
