The meet at the Black Swan in Gweek, we were, through circumstances, only there for three days:cry:
It was, I can quite honestly say, the best one yet!:thumb:
It was a riot, a magic mix, Good Company:thumb: a laugh a minute:thumb: Good food at reasonable prices:thumb:(Lobster:thumb::thumb::thumb:) apart from the Crows at 0500hrs a quiet site, a bit sloping here and there,

And the "informal" drinkeepoos yesterday:Doh: God only knows how the "informal" BBQ is going to work out today:Doh:

So many thanks to;
Phil & Nic
Viv & Chris
Colin & Jill
John & Pauline
For making the meet so good:thumb:

(Good?:Angry: Good? Bloody Mighty excellent:thumb::thumb:)

Hi John & Maureen, So glad you enjoyed it. It certainly is working out well. It's the people who make the meet and your home brew went some way to the liver being compromised. Take care see you soon. :thumb:

The meet at the Black Swan in Gweek,

I read this when first posted and presumed that GWEEK was a function of the alcohol infused poster

Just looked it up on Google, amazing how many places that I have never heard of despite having been to every county in the country

Somewhere else to try and find the time to get to :thumb:

I'm a newbie
Just returned home from Gweek. This was my first meet and I enjoyed it and meeting new people. I must admit that I cannot drink like I used to do bailed out early at night.

Thank you to Phil and Nic for the BBQ.
Contrary to what you may see or read, Merlin did not drive back.

Hope to see you all soon.

We are now settled at a site nr Redruth, working our way slowly to Stratford, having been at the meet in Gweek. Now we have some signal we would just like to add our huge thanks to Phil and Nikki for being such a superb host and hostess. You both went above and beyond the call of duty taking us out for a day in the car showing us the sights and then laying on a great BBQ.
John, Maureen, John, Pauline, Viv, Chris, Mike, Mark and, of course, not forgetting Merlin, thank you all for giving us stomach ache from laughing too much, you are a great crowd.
Last but not least our thanks to landlord Alec who could not do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay at the Black Swan where the food was fabulous (how did he remember everyones name after the first introduction?)
See you all again soon, we hope!

The Gweek (Black Swan) Meet

Hi all I would just like to say a huge thank you to:-
John & Maureen
John & Pauleen
Viv & Chris
Colyn & Jill
Mac & Merlin
Mike
You all made the meet what it was and from the outset it was like meeting old friends. Also I would like to say a huge thank you to Alec & his crew for the warm welcome he offered us as we arrived and throughout our stay. The weather was not to bad either allowing us to relax with a drink in one hand and food in the other. My liver breathed a sigh of relief when I arrived home. I will require a Combine Harvester to cut my grass as when I let the dogs out only their tails could be seen and as for Susie the Jacker it was like the F***arewe tribe as she had to jump up just to find her way back. Hope to meet with you all very soon.
Many thanks to you all.
Nicki & Phil.:beerchug:

Just got home.
What a cracking week.
We met eight new friends who we hope to meet up with again.
Viv, we managed to dink the pub out of Jamiesons.
Thanks to Phil and Nicky, great effort, and to Alec and his crew for their hospitality.
