My Fiat Scudo remote key fob has stopped working. Presumably (and hopefully), all it needs is a new battery. It is an 06 and I haven't changed a battery since I got it in 2010.

Can anyone tell me what sort of battery I need? I've had a look in the manual and it doesn't mention battery type at all. Interestingly, the key no longer works manually either. Hopefully everything will be resolved by a new battery. :thumb:

Having a bit of a Google and it looks like it's a main dealer job or an auto locksmith

It appears that it needs to be reprogrammed after the battery change.

That's what worries me :Eeek: I do not know if I have the security code for the keys :Eeek::Eeek: I will have to search through paperwork :Eeek::Eeek::Eeek:

All I could see when Googling was MONEY, MONEY, MONEY

What a rip off!
