i did and im still here :roflmto:

As Jim said in another thread a few days ago, there are tens of thousands of funsters registered but a great majority never responded to the email verification request when they registered so are not active and never will be until they verify.

log out and back in again.

Tried that, John..... and got the same message..

I`ll leave it and see if I miss anything or get evicted... :winky:

It`s working with the new email address I put in... cos I got a notification of a PM..

And usually it goes to an old email address which I don`t use since getting compromised...

Is it safe to visit?

The way to tell is to read the address and see if it makes sense in context of the email.

EG this email was supposed to have come from Motorhome Fun. So lok at the address - after the http:// it says "www.motorhomefun.co.uk" and that address matches where the email was supposed to have come from. So you can see it is safe to click on it.

Another example would be when you get those lovely emails saying "You must verify your account information" from "eBay". When you look at the the address they as you to click on and it starts with something like "srv32.ukr.ebay.reply//" etc you can see that it is obviously s scam. If it was really from ebay that would say "ebay.com"

So it is easy to see if something is safe to click on by reading the address.

Hint: Sometimes it just says "Click Here" and does not show the address. In this case hover your mouse pointer over those words adn check out the bottom left hand corner of the window. You will see the address shown there, so you can always check it out for safety.

How to remove Start.iminent help needed

Hi Guys trying to sort sis-in-law's lappy, everytime you fire up chrome it goes to start.iminent which is redirect site. Tried all the usual things, remove from extensions, and search engines, reboot chrome and its back again. Doesn't show up on remove programmes. Doesn't show up as a folder in programmes.

Have run malwarebytes, no effect, its got kaspersky virus protection. Search the web but all the answers require you to spend money. Any ideas? about from reinstall?
