Has anyone heard of, or seen an absorbent draining mat for the washing up. I saw one recently reviewed in one of the MH magazines but cannot now find the information.

We have one, senile moment can't remember exactly where I purchased but I'm sure it was an accessory shop up here. They do work and give a bit more anti rattle protection on hob.

I'll check a couple of websites where I've shopped for you.

remember now, it was B and M

This is It had some square drying mats, very cheap. Similar to the ones on Amazon. Wash and tumble dry.

OH MY GOD...

Why on earth did none of you tell me about this stuff before?

Decades of rufty tufty fulltiming and I have never found a satisfactory solution to air drying the dishes in the van(s) until today.

One question though...

After I have bought such a mat can I still leave the washing up until I have no clean dishes to use or do I have to wash up every day?

Smell of not yet done washing least of my sensory troubles...

No flies can survive inside if you have a Froggy on board... a professional fly catcher

I`m a newbie, now 1 year
I have one, from Aldi some time ago, do not use it for that purpose though, as I wash and dry up after every meal, use it in the house after washing antique vases and ornaments.

Something different. -- I have usual plastic draining rack but it has a tray fitted to the bottom, so drips go into that and you can angle it up to the sink to drain into that. Don't know if they're in UK , always seem to be in the cheapie shops in a France that sell tombs of plastic from China.

Bought mine in Proper Job - do you have those stores where you live? Haven't used it though - we use a tray, so its in an overhead cupboard, along with 1000 other non slip mats, dusters.......
