Hi from Lanarkshire (although am a devout Yorkist)

Just a quick line to say hello, having wandered across from the RVOC, as it seems many of the members over there are on here too!

Own a C Class Gulfstream, for the last 3 years although unused for the past 18 months due to a knee injury.

Planning to take some time out and sod off into the wild blue yonder soon, start discovering those places around Europe that other people have talked about and I have read about with jealousy.

A poll of 2,000 people by hotel chain Best Western identified Yorkshire and Humberside as having the most helpful locals.
At the same time London was singled out as the region where people felt least likely to be offered assistance.
Mikhaila Brentnall, of Best Western, which has over 280 hotels across the UK, said: "Northern stereotypes usually involve flat caps, chip shops, Coronation Street and incomprehensible accents.
"However, this survey shows that people across Great Britain view northerners as helpful, warm and welcoming."
After Yorkshire and Humberside, the most hospitable regions were Scotland and north west England, followed by north east England.
Half of those polled rated London as the least helpful place to visit with Wales the next most inhospitable.
