The curved tambour door on our bathroom got stuck on a small stone. Two of its feet were damaged and the track split. Now it won't move at all.
Trying to get parts from Geist (via Camper UK).
They can get me the feet but I have to buy 10 for nearly £50 plus delivery and they can't promise a delivery date, don't do refunds and say that if you can't be flexible and wait for an unspecified time for delivery don't bother ordering.
After 3 attempts they have failed to answer my question about getting a new track.
Camper NE say we have to buy a new door for £300 + with the same issue about delivery times.
I was talking about making small improvements to the van and keeping it but this business of getting parts from Geist is beyond a joke.
Just glad I wasn't in the bathroom when the door stuck.

I wasn't sure if "Tambour" meant what I thought (sliding roll up door thingy) so looked it up and found this..

Maybe no harm in an email to see if the could help.. Like most things in a caravan / motorhome they are just bought in and assembled from other suppliers..

Thanks Tonka,
I've emailed them but their doors are pull down. Ours slides across and is curved. It's a long shot but they might be able to advise.
Thanks for looking.

WildAx fit tambour doors to their motorhomes - you could try them as I'm sure they have loads of bits!
