Going to a wedding in October. Service in Laycock and reception at Priston Mill near Bath .

Thought we might take the car and do B&B for a change BUT even Premier Inn is over £300 for 3 nights !!

So plan B :- back to taking the van !!

Anyone know of reasonable site in this area ? Will need to hire a car too as usually tow the motorbike but as a bit if a posh do don't think the bike would wash !!

Thanks in anticipation :thumb:

Calling JJ !!!!!

Come on Prince , the Lady wants some good spot to stay in Bath!

Pam , last time we stayed at the coach station. I can't remember for how much (I think 8 euros 24hours) but it was very handy , town centre at short walk distance !

I'm sure JJ will know a few others

Bath Marina is nice but quite pricey (for the likes of me!).

It is on the Bristol side of Bath and close to the Park and Ride.

Also, I would book as early as possible as it does seem to fill up quite often.

Bath Marina site looks good but when you put in your details with number if people it says 2 extra persons £48 ?? Is that an error ? Ie is £48 for the people and van is the basic price ? Think I must be dim !!!

Looking at 17 Oct for 4 nights . Comes out around £86 , not cheap compared to France but cheaper than £100 per night in Premier Inn !!!

Bath Chew Valley is nice but you do need your car or bike too ........ there was only one bus a day when I went there ... don't know if it has improved.

I found it cheaper to hire a car from the local Enterprise to go back and forward into Bristol or Bath than to get taxis.

The lads who run the site were brilliant and so very, very helpful at all times.
