Mine can handle 15 amps and I used to run a large cool box with it.
Now I feed the wifi hub and feed the aerial USB lead through the door seal

12v cig Socket same as previous post inside the van charging a 12v hand lamp
If anyone carries a jump starter pack these need almost constant charging to work properly and maintain fitness for purpose, the Solar load out put is a good way of maintaining these:thumb:if you have no better use for it:thumb:

Yes it is on all the time. Some controllers have an on/off timer facility also.
Most if not all will have a low voltage cut off point.

I run a 150w inverter of mine and use it for all charging of accessories, TV sat etc. if battery voltage drops too low it cuts off. only ever done that once after having the TV on for 10 hours on wet day.

Not a lady but most ladies throw them in the bin :roflmto:

The load feed as you refer to it is not different to connecting to the battery.

Agree with Techno.......12V hairdryers are possibly the most ridiculous gadgets ever made! Good for the bin! They really are not fit for purpose, I think they would even struggle to dry a Barbie dolls hair! :ROFLMAO:

i would like to know where all these high aux output controllers come from ?

Both my last and current ones, both MPPT, have a max output of 2amps on the aux load connections

Mine will carry 40 amps as long as the wiring is suitably sized.

What do you use your solar controller load connection for?I know it can be use for low amp equiptment, but I just wondered what other Funsters use them for.

I run my 300W inverter off it. This is used for the laptop chargers (too many of them to all have 12V PSUs). I can set the minimum voltage much higher than the default to ensure the battery never gets anywhere near low on such frivolous usages.
