Any ideas on best place (ie. site/cl ) in UK. to hear Nightingales ? Have only ever heard them in the rest of Europe. Would I be right in assuming it would be sites in the south east ??? :thumb:

We heard them at the Caravan Club Cherry Hinton site near Cambridge. It was in May/June last year.

We used to get them in our garden in Kingsbridge, South Devon but they are very common here in Spain.

However, I think their song is overrated! Wouldn't go out of my way to hear it.

Obviously the Iberian nightingales sing in Spanish.
Not nearly as melodic as the English ones.
