I am in Belgium living on my boat and I have the MH here too.

Has anyone suggestions on getting the MH parked safely as we move around. So we move the boat, I go back and move the MH to where we need it next or just closer.

Do campsites have discount rates for this if its just parked.

There are a lot of places that do motorhome/Caravan storage.
its never cheap.
where are you looking and do you want openair or Garage type parking.

I am happy with outdoor parking. We are currently in Niuewpoort but will be heading for Brugge this afternoon then on to Gent. The plan is to move it a max of 20km around the boat route so I can cycle back to retrieve or further afield if there is a train link.

I am wondering if just sensible on street parking for a day or two would attract attention. As we are travelling on the rivers it seems from what I've seen so far that there is plenty of disused land along the river fronts or close by.

Hi Biggles

Before you do anything else check with your MH insurers what the situation is if you leave your MH unattended overnight abroad as this could easily invalidate your insurance full stop! :whatthe:

I know others have asked questions before about leaving a MH unoccupied overnight abroad, even at their own property, and got a nasty shock ... so CHECK THIS OUT FIRST! :Eeek:

I have overnighted on the ringroad before on the way back from Amsterdam last year. I suspect we will be in Brugges for a few days.

I will check my insurance details.
