The Thorpe le Soken Rally is now open for booking requests. We will provisionally accept 42 units, please note this includes motorhomes, caravans, campers, dogs, toads and frogs, but NO fifth wheelers unfortunately. but are hopeful that we can accommodate everyone who wishes to attend, based on previous years experiences.
The cost will be £16 per night, or £21 per night with EHU. You don't need to be on EHU every night, but i do monitor it as do the campsite, so please make sure you let me know prior to plugging in. It was helpful for a couple of people this year who had problems with their on board power to be able to charge up! If you cant attend the full 7 nights, please let me know when you make your request to attend, It wont stop you attending, but will help us with the planning. The full Rally will commence on Bank Holiday Monday 31st May (immediately after The Bash) until Monday 7th June 2027. We are thinking of arranging a small two night follow on Rally again, but are still investigating venues. If we are able to arrange a suitable location it will be somewhere we have not yet ‘explored’.
We have been given permission again to utilise the adjoining camping field in The Oaks, if you specifically wish to to be sited there, please let me know when booking. The rally field can hold around 30 units but in order that no one feels left out, we will at some point, be siting some of you in The Oaks even if there are still spaces in the rally field.
When you request attending the rally, please indicate if you wish to attend Wednesday curry night (@ £23 per person estimated). We anticipate that we will be very close to maximum numbers in the restaurant, so a non refundable deposit of £5 per person will be required at the same time as the rally deposit is paid, which will be BEFORE October 1st please. Once you have been allocated a place, I will forward bank account details – this year I am hoping they will be the correct details with no extra numbers LOL …
Attending the rally is NOT dependant on going to curry night or any other activities that might be planned. We respect that some Funsters just want to get out and about by themselves, so please don’t think you need to join in with anything, just come and enjoy doing what you enjoy doing, though make sure you keep your curtains closed if necessary …… oooh vicar !
Other definite arranged ‘events’ will be Pizza night on Tuesday and some form of entertainment, yet to be finalised, on Saturday night at the local social club. Further details on those events will be promulgated in due course, though if you can indicate on your booking request that you are interested in either, then that will help with the planning. The Fish and Chip van still visits the social club on Thursdays and many Funsters take advantage of the social clubs hospitality and eat inside the club, the club even dispose of the wrappers for us!

2 Do you wish to attend Pizza night on Tuesday evening, if so how many people. Importantly I need to know if you need to eat early …..!! Pizza choices etc can be sorted nearer the date.
3 Do you wish to attend Curry night on Wednesday, if so how many people in your party, again I also need to know if you need to eat early! I visited the restaurant on Friday (07/08) and we will plan on doing three sittings, which will make it easier for the staff. For those who have been previously, you will realise that space is at a premium and they were very close to full capacity last year and were turning customers away.
4 Are you interested in Saturday night at the Social Club? If so please indicate how many tickets you think you may want.
