So, here's a strange one, somebody who joined the forum on 26th March has advertised their motorhome on motorhome fun on 10th April, they were last on the forum at 1211 on the 11th April, but failed to respond or even acknowledge a request for more info or details/photographs to be sent via email (email address sent separately in private)

Does something seem quite not right ....??

i havent made a spurious claim. i have asked for more info via my private email address, information which you seem reluctant to provide, so i can check myself if this is a genuine sale and to check the MoT history of the vehicle to see if any major issues have been identified/resolved previously...... does that seem a sensible approach ???

as you hadnt answered i asked if something doesnt seem quite right, you have now responded privately but still havent sent the information i asked for, so again, it makes me think that something isnt quite right due to your reluctance - i am damn sure that no one will travel from mainland UK to view a motorhome when they havent been given the information they require, so they can check the vehicles history etc

i am now withdrawing from my intent to buy this motorhome, as it just doesnt 'feel' right, what others do is entirely up to them ...... if it quacks like a duck ....

When you sign up to sell via Motorhome Depot, are you not allowed to sell it privately, so long as the buyer hasnt 'gone through' motorhome depot or is there some sort of contract that stops you selling privately?

I must add we were a bit tempted this morning as the layout is great for how we use our van, 2018 Adria 670 SLT, but the shower arrangement was a major negative point, daft as it seems. The boss also rolled her eyes thinking of how much time I would spend adding (sometimes unnecessary) 'stuff' LOL. Best wishes with both the sale and knee - I had a tkr about five years ago and despite the pain at the time, I would have it done again tomorrow if needed, it's been so much better since!!

The shower does work well. Infill in floor, no trip hazard. Nice square shower. If needed a curtain between bed and shower. Big advantage, plenty of space to dry and dress etc. Fully inclosed so outside of shower stays dry. Fold back the shower doors, drop floor infill in. Any water behind doors. And back to large a rear dry bedroom. Space used 2 purposes. Both front and rear, very spacious, modern and light. TKR's improving well thank you. But decided to buy bungalow. The van is faultless, no defects or damage.

Love your motorhome…would you not sell it outside of a trader?I understand the traders commission is £5k..
