Deepower K26 Folding Electric Mountain Bike
Bike stuff:
Motor stuff:
Note that I have not used it for about nine months so I totally recommend that you give it a brake and gear service. I do remember that it was a bit sulky about changing up to the biggest cog on the front gearing. Rear cassette was fine.
I am selling it because I need something less ‘off-road’. I am getting a hybrid ebike as I am getting on a bit. The bike is about two and a half years old, and has done about 250 miles. New, it cost, £800. I am selling for half that, so £400, to a friendly Funster. It will be on ebay at £500.
Bike stuff:
- Shimano 21 gears
- 26"×1.95" good tyres
- Recommended height of the rider is 5'4" - 6'4" (have to say, I think that you would find it a tad on the high side if you are under 5’6”)
- Front and rear shock absorbers, both can be locked off
- Front and rear mechanical disc brakes
- Quick release hubs
- Steel frame, can be folded in half to pack more easily
- Ally forks, steel rear cargo rack
- Bike weight is 25.5 kilos, but you can remove the battery to make it a lighter weight for one person to carry and stow
- Maximum rider weight is 150 kilos
- Integral strong bike stand
Motor stuff:
- 250W brushless motor, providing 40-43NM torque
- 48V, 12.8Ah detachable lithium battery, hidden and locked in the centre frame
- 5 modes, providing 1- 5 levels supported pedalling and a twist throttle for full electric mode.
- Range on full electric is easily twenty miles and you will probably get forty five miles on assisted mode.
- Top speed restricted to 15mph of course. Can be easily de-restricted, if you really must. I obviously haven't done it so I couldn't say that de-restricted, it
didwould do about twenty five mph, and anyway the speedowaswould be probably wrong. - Charging time: Approximately 6 hours from empty, more than 2000 cycles of charging. I've charged it about ten times. You can charge the battery inside the bike, but I am paranoid so I always remove it to charge.
- The charger has a European plug, so you will need a EU pin to UK adapter.
- Display shows you the speed, battery charge, distance travelled and more
- LED headlight
- Comes with dedicated lithium battery charger.
