This was taken off a motorhome that was being scrapped and is presumed to be working. I have done a quick test as you can see in the video below that shows the remote control can operate it.
There are only 2 issues I can see other than it needing a clean is that it doesn't retract all the way. I believe there is a calibration process to go through once it is mounted. I don't have the details on this however.
The mounting bracket was firmly sikaflexed onto the van being scrapped so you will need to get a replacement. I think they are around £80 - £100 but you would need to confirm.
I believe the make/model is Dometic PR2000 or PR2500??? But I am not certain. It is 3.6M tip to tip.
It is the self supporting type that doesn't need legs and will pull itself in if it gets too windy.
Other than that I know very little about it. I managed to pull it off the van before it went to the scrap yard as it seemed a waste otherwise.
And i just checked it opening all the way out on the floor.
Please note a lot of the noise it it dragging on the floor.
